Jolt Coffee Roasters Whole bean, Finca Las Lajas, Costa Rica, Jolt

Finca Las Lajas – Costa Rica from Jolt Coffee Roasters is a compelling specialty coffee, freshly roasted and crafted with precision and purpose. Grown on the slopes of an ancient volcano at about 1,700 metres, producers Oscar Chacón and Francisca Chacón manage Finca Las Lajas with a forward‑thinking approach to quality and sustainability. This microlot features the Casiopea (Casiopeia) variety treated by their “Black Diamond” natural process. That means cherries are dried slowly on raised beds and then in covered patios for up to 30 days, resulting in outstanding clarity, sweetness, fruit complexity and texture. In the cup you’ll find deep notes of dark chocolate balanced by floral aromatics and strong blueberry character. The body is luscious and creamy, with intense fruit clarity and an elegant finish. Why this coffee stands out: Specialty coffee from Costa Rica with top‑tier microlot credentials, ideal for filter or slow brew methods. Artisanal production: natural "Black Diamond" processing for expressive flavor and texture. Freshly roasted by Jolt Coffee Roasters, selected by RoasterCup for its quality, origin story and taste depth. Best brewed with pour‑over, Chemex or French press to uncover rich complexity and creamy body. At RoasterCup we believe in coffees that tell a story — Finca Las Lajas delivers that story in every cup.

  • 🇱🇺 Whole bean, Guatemala Terroir

Lëtz Coffee Whole bean, Guatemala Terroir

    3 reviews

This blend of Arabicas from the Huehuetenango region has all the qualities of the terroir: lively acidity, very marked fruity and floral notes. At 2,000 meters above sea level, Huehuetenango sits at the crossroads of warm air sweeping eastward from the plains of Tehuantepec in Oaxaca, Mexico, and cool air sweeping down from the mountains Cuchumatanes, which creates a microclimate that slows down frost, allowing coffee growing at altitude. These conditions are perfect for producing Arabicas with lively acidity and fruity notes, typical of the region. In this remote region, most producers process their coffees themselves; the abundance of streams and rivers greatly facilitates the production of washed (Fully Washed) coffees. The cherries are picked by hand and pulped on site, generally using small manual or electric crushers. After fermentation, the grains are rinsed with water to remove any remaining mucilage. The water used is filtered so as not to contaminate local waterways. The grains are then dried, either on tables or on patios.
