Note: this is an adventurous coffee for connoisseurs. It is ideal for filter coffee-makers. 

Selected last year for Easter edition, Knopes is pleased to offer you the new annual harvest of this coffee. The weather conditions and treatment being different from the old batch, discover its new profile without delay. 

The Horizon washing station is located in the Kigoma region, in eastern Rwanda. The station employs 94 workers, 70% of whom are women, to process the 1000 tonnes of coffee produced each year by nearly 1200 farmers generally located less than 2km from the station.

Horizon is considered one of the most beautiful places in the province, this area is located in a valley surrounded by very steep slopes, pineapples growing on the shoulders and avocado trees line the paths.

Although the station is located at an altitude of 1680m, the producing farms are located at an altitude of over 2000m. This coffee has notes of honey, plums and blueberries.
