Description

Introducing Brazil Nakamura by Unity Coffee, a versatile artisanal coffee crafted to deliver an exceptional experience across both brewing methods. Grown in the Chapada de Minas region at an altitude of 1,100 meters above sea level, this lot features 100% yellow catuai variety beans. The unique natural anaerobic processing method results in a complex profile that earned a Q-grader rate of 85,75. While these same beans are excellent for a rich espresso, they open up quite differently in a filter brew, revealing vibrant tasting notes of nectarine, hazelnut, and orange jam.

To fully explore these fruit and nutty nuances on RoasterCup, try preparing it using our recommended Hario V60 filter recipe. Use 18 grams of medium-ground coffee and 270 milliliters of water heated to 93 degrees Celsius. Begin by rinsing the paper filter and discarding the water. Add your ground coffee to the dripper, then bloom with 45 milliliters of water for 30 to 45 seconds. Finish the brew by pouring the remaining water in 4 distinct stages, aiming to complete the extraction by 2 minutes and 40 seconds.
