Founded in 2020 by Eduardo Saavedra, a barista turned artisan roaster, Cafeto embodies a dedication to craft and quality. Eduardo refined his skills at La Caféothèque in Paris, one of France’s premier roasting schools, before beginning his roasting journey in Narbonne. By 2022, rising demand led to the opening of Cafeto’s own roasting workshop in Lavérune, near Montpellier.
Every batch roasted at Cafeto is handled with precision and respect for the bean, ensuring that each coffee reveals its aromatic richness and distinctive character. This pursuit of excellence was recognized in the 2023 Hérault Gourmand competition, where Cafeto received both a silver and a bronze medal for its coffees and organic products.
