Whole bean, Peru Terroir El Palto

Description

El Palto is a coffee grown between 1300 and 1800 meters above sea level, in the dense, humid forests of the Selva Alta, in northern Peru.

It is a high quality coffee, which mixes 3 varieties of Arabicas (Caturra, Typica, Catimor). The cup is balanced, slightly tangy, with notes of milk chocolate on the finish.

El Palto is the result of the work of a producer association, JUMARP. This association was founded in 2003 by 35 small farmers in order to develop sustainable coffee production, in harmony with the forest, and to take charge of coffee exports itself. Today, the 211 members all produce certified organic and fair trade coffees.

Au delà du bon café je tenais à saluer le respect des délais de livraison respecté à chaque fois lors de mes 3 dernières commandes. La flexibilité de livraison (à domicile ou dans un point relais) est appréciable.
